Somsatoil was given to me. She was a refugee.

That makes her all the more my love.

Thinking of the beginning of Somsatoil's existence here I thought that if I apologised to her for rescuing her and nursing her back to health it would make a difference to our relationship with one another. I did many times I apologised to her for nursing back to health but to no avail.

I am a person that believes that love overcomes all. I got to work on her. I used group pressure in that I showed her what a good time the rest of us were having and you are welcome to join us.

I also set to work on her and spent a lot of time training her to behave and showing her that I love her spending private time with her. I pick her up from time to time and simply tell her I love you and put her back. Those are very powerful words. Because it changed her attitude to me.

With time she has turned into the most loving bird she has become very gentle and sweet she is the only one I will trust with kids or strangers to behave. Miss Somsatoil was the bird of choice and I was very proud of her. The others attitude is if they don't know you, go die they will have nothing to do with you at all and you stand a good chance of being bitten for free too.

Her nature she is a big love and is a adorable. So gentle and so sweet.

There is another side She is always making alarm calls causing the birds to "Flewing to the Floor" which they all know is a crime. Even to this day Somsatoil is always making inappropriate calls like " Alarm Alarm Scatter were under attack " and causing general havoc here. It will be nice and peaceful one moment and next thing all hell breaks out. I am left to collect birds from all over the flat. I now shut the glass door to their room and this stops a lot of the nonsense.

In the beginning Somsatoil and I did not get along she did not know the meaning of co-operation or just plain tow the line, if she got picked up she started shouting help (in bird) and reeping and making alarm calls like I am being abducted; rescue me; help me etc. Which meant she couldn't be taken anywhere alone. As she wouldn't be quiet or behaved.

Another of her favourite moves to to wait till I am on the phone then to start shrieking at the top of her voice which is I assure you not appreciated.

She is none to bright but loves to shriek till her personal servant come and helps her up or down or what ever she may require.

If the others go to the window sill to chew grass or to bath she hasn't got the savvy to join them. She will stand and shriek till I get up to see what's wrong with her and pick her up and put her with the rest. So she can chew grass/plants greens too.

Somsatoil some times fly's to my bed to join Blanche but this is rare. She will sit on my pillow or on the side of my bed and wait for me to stir while sorting out her feathers.

She likes to hang out with Coco her husband hey like to duck under my bed in the morning for some extra kip. She frequently misses the Bus to work and has to be collected from my room and taken to work as a special delivery.

Somsatoil comes and sits with me in the morning every morning. The problem here is she wants to be collected on her own. She takes private transport and shouts for me to collect her or some other obliging soul.
