In remembrance of my little dog called Snookies who passed on the 4th August 2006.

Snookies you were brought home that December day
To be a very special pet to a little boy
Ashley loved you so much
You gave him daily joy
Playing with him, being with him and giving him your special brand of unconditional love,
You never failed to greet us joyously
You never caused trouble
Got a little jealous when cats were brought home
But then that was so understandable.
As the cataracts covered your eyes
It got harder for you to get around
Until your life was limited to the house
With no more walks, or visits to new places.
We will miss you little friend
We will think of you often because
You will always be a memory in our hearts.
Thank you for the time you stayed with us

With all our love...Socrates we miss you so much. Our lives will never be the same. You were one of a kind. Pancake, please watch over her and guide her through this difficult time. Although I never met you, from what your Daddy has written I know you were also a very special lady. It seems like you 2 should have been twins.
We miss you baby.............

Do Not Weep
Mary E.Frye 1932

Do not stand at my grave and weep:
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow;
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight;
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry:
I am not there. I did not die.
