 | | 22.10.2008 23:05:02 | | Mute Testament Some one Took a hit ! | I went outside this morning and saw these feathers. It means someone was not paying attention and took a hit from the sky. I was very angry about this, but Mr & Mrs Hawk also have to eat. But that said not in my back yard. I would have risen to the defense of the dove if I had been around. This must have taken place in the very early morning.
There have been some close shaves even with me there.
We have been buzzed ie the hawk has flown right over my head.
It has even landed and tried to attack the cockatiels on the ground. But I know their language so I know a shout for help when I hear one. This resulted in my storming out the house with the dogs thinking the next door cat was terrorizing my cockatiels again only to have the Yellow billed kite take off and fly right past me. Close shave for us both.
I asked Parsley if she knew anything about these feathers, she decided to examine them closer.
Later Parsley came up to me and said Pop Paaaar her favorite saying. Had a conversation based on the words aaar pop and paaar. She is my big friend. More so now that Henretta has gone.
